THE ARAB BATH , known as “Baño del Nogal” or “de los Axares” (Hamman in arab) from the eleventh century, is one of the best Muslim constructions which survive. It was a public, civic and religious building designed for having a rest and a bath. The bright patio with a swimming pool, vaults and capitals is like a dream of water on a river bank.
